America has the strongest and most vibrant economy in the world. We are ready to embrace a global economy to help enrich our own balance of trade. As the first true CEO President, Rich Whiteman would be the best choice to manage the American government's money. Through fiscal discipline and responsible government spending, we will be able to balance the budget and reduce taxes in an equitable way for all Americans. Rich Whiteman is also the right man to fight the special interest groups and "Washington insiders". So much pork and earmarks in government legislation weakens the effectiveness of Congress. Rich Whiteman has no patience for cronyism and runaway lawmakers. Working families and the middle class need a strong advocate against all the partisan bickering in Washington. Through economic reform, a fair tax system, and government growth to generate economic opportunities, Rich Whiteman is all about new revenue.
National Defense
In this complex and dangerous era, Rich Whiteman feels we need to go on offense against those who would try to oppose an American way of life. Gone are the days of pre-disaster thinking in this post-disaster world. We need a strategy for victory in the war on terror. Through our alliances and military campaigns overseas, we are fighting the radical extremists over there rather than here. We do not want to wait for a "mushroom cloud smoking gun" worst case scenario. From the Middle East to Asia, new challenges are being thrown at our national defense. And when the jihadists try to come here, law enforcement needs the tools to make sure they are captured and prosecuted. We must support our troops and settle for nothing less than victory. At the same time, we must draw down our involvement to give new freedom-loving governments a lead role in managing their own security and government. Our national security and safety will be a top priority in a Rich Whiteman administration.
Family Values
Rich Whiteman can and will provide the moral leadership our country so richly deserves. Whether it is strengthening our communities or defending our values for future generations, the moral compass of compassion will keep our nation headed in the right direction. Our leaders need to invest in social issues and a judiciary that reflects the values so many Americans hold so dearly. Rich Whiteman will be a champion for the sanctity of life and decency while preserving liberty and freedom of choice. From the institution of marriage to activist judges, Whiteman will be a beacon of sanity in the political gamesmanship that threatens to pollute the moral institutions of our day. As a democratic pillar of righteousness, we have been given a mandate to spread freedom-loving moralities to everyone. Americans are ready to embrace a faith in traditional values and spread a divine providence to all. Rich Whiteman will always "think of the children". Embracing the sanctity of life, we should fight to see that every child is cared for with an education, health-care, and countless other components necessary for a bright future.
Immigration Reform
Protecting our American way of life is a touchstone of the Rich Whiteman political platform. We must secure our borders, as the foundation of any program, to manage both a documented and undocumented population. Border security is a necessity to insure the safety of Americans. We must help employers embrace worker verification and management of a legal workforce. Illegal immigration is a crime and we need to do a better job enforcing existing laws. We should not reward wayward individuals with amnesty or a special status. We should not let aliens invade our republic to consume our resources. The majority of these illegal immigrants are coming from the area of Mexico. If there is anyone who understands and relates to the plight of foreign workers and their families, it is Rich Whiteman. The government must document those within our borders with tamper-proof documentation. True immigration reform can, and will be, implemented by Rich Whiteman.
Health Care
Fair and affordable health care in this country does not have to be a dream. Through market reform, billing and patient records system modernization, a free market universal health care system will set the standard for medical needs of our citizens. Rather than simply treating illnesses after they happen, Rich Whiteman believes we should also work with insurance companies and medical professionals to bring Americans to a preventive health care mind set. Through consumer choice and accountability, we can drive down medical costs for all Americans. We should also embrace a plan to provide health care for all, especially our children. Through a new standard in medical insurance plans, whether they are facilitated by employers or available to individuals, universal market-based access for health expenses can be a reality. Rich Whiteman believes each of us should have control over our medical care and a choice, rather than limited federally controlled plans. Rich Whiteman believes consumer-based health care for every American is the answer.
